Alison St Ledger is a singer songwriter and caberet singer who's had a long history and often described as one of the ‘Founding Mothers’ of ‘Women in Voice’.
Alison is highly skilled and highly talented but as they're not mainstream, we very rarely hear from them. Alison never overstates anything, so when she lets rip you really go on the journey with her.
Alison St Ledger is one of Queensland’s finest and most versatile performers. Best known for her involvement in Women in Voice appearing in eleven out of sixteen in this popular cabaret series and sharing the stage with some of Australia’s leading female talent such as Katie Noonan, Kate Miller-Heidke and the legendary Chrissie Amphlett.
As a singer /songwriter Alison has produced an album of her own compositions Charming little adages of Comfort and recorded two c.d.s with all-star a Cappella group The Flannelettes. Alison has given critically acclaimed performances at the Brisbane Cabaret Festival over the past four years including The A-Z of Cabaret, Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, Vive Jacques Brel and the Matilda Award winning Tom Waits for no Man.
