The Butler
A great looking and funny living statue act of a torso bust that comes alive as soon as the champagne cork pops out of his bottle.
A torso is a sculpture depicting a person's chest, shoulders and head, usually supported by a stand. In a ‘living statue’ a person is costumed and painted to create the impression of a sculpture, usually in a likeness of marble or stone.
This act prefers to make statues with an extra gimmick beyond the surprise of simply discovering that the statue is alive; a reason for it to come to life.
An Old English Butler presents a bottle of fine champagne. At random moments the cork will pop out of the bottle were the statue is forced to come alive to put it back on the bottle. He then freezes again like nothing has happened.
This act is suitable for most locations, but ideal for entrances or close to a bar area.
It can also be easily moved to another location between sets.
