Story Telling Workshop
Jeremy Ambrum is an Performing Artist, he is a Yidinji man from Atherton Tablelands and also South Sea Islander from Lifu Island. He presents Storytelling workshops to Schools around Brisbane, Queensland and Northern NSW.
He has recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Performing arts at the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA). Jeremy has studied as an actor and have been on stage at QPAC Brisbane in ACPA plays such as "Stolen", "Up The Ladder", "Spirit of The Lore".
He has also played small parts in TV Miniseries "Mabo" 2012 alongside Deborah Mailman, "Mystery Road"2012, and played the lead role in Short film "Blackbuster" 2012. In 2012 I won "Artist of the Year" for Naidoc, Bundaberg.
In 2013 he attended the Queensland Indigenous Youth Leadership Program (QIYLP 2013) and was voted Premier of Queensland by the other participants of that year.
