In his recently released self-titled album, Thor Phillips holds nothing back. As well as singing, playing guitar, dobro, bass and drums on the tracks, each song was written, recorded and produced by Thor, in his cottage studio on Tamborine Mountain in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland. The songs tell the tale of possibilities, loss, yearning, identity and free-dom. They are anthems of struggle with a chorus of hope.
