Toby Wren
Toby Wren is one of Australia’s most unique and compelling musical talents. The Toby Wren Trio has achieved both public and critical acclaim, and has toured Australia, including invitations to some of Australia’s most prestigious festivals.
Bursting onto the Australian scene at the age of 15, he began performing in Blues, Rock, Classical and Fusion styles. Wren went on to study composition at the Queensland Conservatorium and his orchestral compositions have been performed by all of Australia’s best orchestras,
including a collaborative piece that was performed at the Sydney Olympics opening ceremony.
Toby Wren has collaborated with world-class jazz musicians such as ‘world saxophone competition winner’ Jamie Oehlers, James Morrison, Megan Washington, Katie Noonan, Michael Feinstein and Debbie Reynolds.
