John Reid – Character Emcee & Impersonator
John Reid started his stunning career singing the hit song “Up there Cazaly” on a cruise ship bound for Fiji in the late 1970’s (Aged 12). Since that historic evening, John has known no other ambition except than to entertain the masses with his unique style of comedy and song.
From busking on the streets of Europe to performing before 22,000 people in the middle of ANZ Stadium, he’s done it all!
He has performed in Bands, Duo’s, Children’s Shows, T.V Commercials, Comedy acts and of course, Corporate Events. For the last 10 years John has mostly concentrated on perfecting his own very special brand of Comic Characterisations and Mimicry (impersonations).
John Reid’s energy and enthusiasm is contagious, whether it be singing a Conference Opening Anthem as ‘Dame Edna Average’, dancing on a table top as ‘Austin Flowers’ or singing a crooning classic with the ‘Swingin’ Martinis’ it seems that no-one is immune to his dynamic entertainment persona.
So, be it roving as a meet and greet, a guest artist at your trade show, a solo comedy musical show or as an MC for your event, there is none better than John Reid!
