Samantha Mooney is a Gold Coast singer/songwriter well known for being lead singer of musical duo 'Scorpio' with regular appearances over the years at venues such as Palazzo Versace, Conrad Jupiters Casino, and most major clubs and hotels on the Gold Coast. 

Her songwriting career has earned her no less than 7 Top Ten awards for the Australian Songwriters Association national songwriting awards since 2003. In 2010 she was nominated for the prestigious Rudy Brandsma Award for her song "Just Enjoy The Ride", with another nomination in 2011. Her debut album "Paper Memories" was completed in 2005.
